A DVNO WINE Exclusive: The 2019 Tenuta Marino IGT Marche Rosato ‘Speranza’ was my first wine from this estate. Made from 75% Sangiovese and 25% Montepulciano, the former boasting an average vine... age of 20 years – about the same vine age for most well-known Tuscan wines – this bottling is one of the very best Rosé wines I have had in my career (13 years in the industry). A gorgeous, deep pink color, the clean and fresh demeanor of this 2019 bursts with delicate strawberries and raspberries in the nose. At the first sip, a smooth liquid with brilliant mouthwatering acidity glides over your palate and is utterly refreshing! The mesmerizing bouquet, elegant structure, and food pairing capability is the ideal marriage of Provence and Italian styled Rosé. The perfect Rosé?
