Bold, rich, and surprisingly complex, the 2018 Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Ca' del Laito explodes with juicy cherries and berries, balsamic herbs, underbrush, warm earth, and sprinklings of potpourri and cocoa. A ripasso wine, this Valpolicella “passes” through the lees of the estate’s classic Amarone, adding intensity, polish, and finesse. An absolute bang for the buck!
