Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards Right Bank 2012
Exotic spices, melted chocolate, tarry earth, espresso, and violet petals frame the ample black cherries and wild berries in the superb 2012 Right Bank from Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards. Upon release, this towering wine showed terrific potential, and now with almost a decade of age, it’s firing on all cylinders — chewy tannins cling to the palate as subtle acidity propels this ultra-silky wine to a lingering, complex finish. Aged in 40% new oak, the 2012 Right Bank is a blend of 57% Cab Sauv and 43% Merlot; drinking wonderfully now, this wine will continue to develop nicely for another decade.
