Tasting Notes
Will Di Nunzio 92
Cerbaia Brunello di Montalcino 2019
The 2019 Brunello from Cerbaia walks a knife’s edge between silky elegance and rustic honesty, and this tension is fabulous. There’s loads of pure fruit here — black cherries, currants, and a touch of plum — and they’re backed by warm earth, savory minerals, spice box, along with some dried roses and citrus zest. Fine-grained, almost lush tannins hold sneaky power, balanced by keen, fresh acidity. Patience would be amply rewarded, but no one would blame you if you dove right in.
