The 2021 vintage of Tignanello sees the wine’s fiftieth anniversary since its inaugural 1971 bottling. As if that’s not enough of a reason to feel excitement about that wine, the 2021 Tig release is spectacular. Sophisticated, polished, and utterly finessed, the 2021 Tig exudes polished Antinori style in its captivating aromatics of rich berry fruits, violet petals, cigar wrapper, warm baking spices, and touches of blood orange, bitter chocolate, and oak. This wine is still a baby, yet it feels complete, with its silky tannins marrying seamlessly with its elegant acidity and subtle minerals. Cellar for a couple of years before enjoying this monumental Tig bottling for decades!
