Philipponnat Champagne Royal Reserve Brut Rosé
A blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, and 5% Pinot Meunier, this nonvintage rosé Champagne teases the palate with a mélange of crisp redcurrants, wild berries, and blood orange, sprinkled with rose petals and mint. About Philipponnat
With almost five centuries of history, Philipponnat Champagne is one of France’s oldest wineries. This family-run Mareuil-sur-Ay estate has seen fifteen Philipponnat generations work on its 50 acres of vines, and the family purchased the estate 1910, expanding the winery’s holdings with some prized old-vine plots. Given this extensive history, it’s probably no surprise that Philipponnat serves as a standard bearer for traditional Champagne, and the estate is dedicated to the solera method, which maintains a library of reserve wines for blending across vintages. While the Lanson-BCC group purchased controlling interests in Maison Philipponnat in 1997, Charles Philipponnat, the grandson of Auguste Philipponnat, serves as estate manager, overseeing the house’s viniculture and viticulture. Painstaking sustainable agriculture, outstanding terroir, and traditional winemaking converge in Philipponnat’s fine Champagnes, which are elegant and timeless celebrations of style.

About Mamete Prevostini
Fewer than 50 acres in the pristine Valtellina subregion, located in northern Italy’s Lombardia, Mamete Prevostini is something of a cult superstar... in the making. The Prevostini family has been living in Valtellina’s craggy Alpine hills for generations; indeed, this family-owned-and-operated estate saw its start in the 1920s, when Mamete started making his own wine to accompany the fine food he served in his restaurant. In addition to its award-winning Chiavennasca bottlings, Prevostini also crafts a range of whites and rosés, which derive from lower altitude vineyards. Prevostini grows its grapes sustainably, and it vinifies its wines in its state-of-the-art carbon-neutral cantina, aging them in natural crotti, of caves, which dot the region. Winemaker-owner Mamete Prevostini, grandson of the founder, sees his natural — and naturally delicious — winemaking as a commitment to nature and to tradition.
