Legal Age Requirement

Any shipment of alcohol must be signed for by an adult that is 21 years or older. No exceptions. Alcohol shipments are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” stipulation, and the common carrier used for delivery is required to ask for and verify ID before delivering merchandise. Many of our customers select to have shipments sent to a business address in lieu of a residential address to avoid missed delivery attempts. As a result of the required adult signature, we DO NOT ship to P.O. Boxes.

Returned Shipments

It is the recipient’s responsibility to receive the shipment in a timely matter. If for whatever reason the shipment is returned back to sender, the outbound shipping fee is non-refundable. Additionally, customers may incur additional charges for cost of return of shipment.

Interstate Shipping

All merchandise from DVNO Wine is sold in California and title passes to buyer in California. By placing your order, you authorize DVNO Wine to engage a common carrier on your behalf to deliver the merchandise to your specified address. We make no representation as to the legal right of anyone to ship or import wines into any country or state in the continental U.S. outside of California, with the exception of the following U.S. states: Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Missouri, Utah. When selecting to ship to another state, you assume all responsibility for determining whether you may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into that state. As interstate shipping laws are continually changing, please check with an appropriate agency before placing your order.

Please note that interstate and international shipments may incur additional taxes and tariffs from the final destination location. These additional fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping FAQs & Terms

    • We process shipments Monday-Friday.
    • Please be sure to add 2-3 business days (48-72 hours) of Processing Time** to the delivery speed selected for Orders to be processed (shipping carrier generated delivery date does not include this – we are currently working to reduce this time.)
    • We try to keep our shipping prices as low as possible! But bottles are heavy, and require special packing material. Keep in mind that some bottles or gift sets weigh more than others.
    • If you are on a deadline, please email or call – or make a note in your order.
    • Ground shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed by the shipping carrier or DVNO Wine.
    • Express shipping methods are recommended for shipments with more rigid deadlines and time schedules.
    • If you have an overnight delivery – please give us a call or send an email to confirm details, and ensure timely shipment.
    • Please note: EXPRESS carrier is typically delivered Monday-Friday (special arrangements must be made for Saturday delivery). Shipping Speed only counts week days, not weekends: ex, 2DAY picked up on a Thursday will arrive the following Monday. GROUND is typically delivered Tuesday-Saturday, with no guarantee of timeframe or day.
    • We sell fine wine – not museum collectibles. We inspect all bottles prior to shipment for nil-level and quality of labels/packaging. The transit process is not always gentle and slight wear on the packaging may occur. Please note there is no refund/discount for this.
    • FREE GROUND SHIPPING OFFERS: Orders must meet the minimum required dollar amount set forth in the offer. Only one shipping address (destination) per order is permitted. Orders containing both in-stock items and pre-arrival items will be held and shipped together when the pre-arrival items become available. If the customer requests that the in-stock items be shipped immediately, the customer agrees to pay any additional shipping charges incurred for the subsequent shipment of the pre-arrival items once they arrive. Offer is valid only on orders placed during the specified offer dates, is not cumulative with other orders, and does not apply to previously placed orders. DVNO Wine will not be held liable for errors in shipping addresses or breakage due to carrier mishandling – we reserve the right to charge for reshipping due to any of these errors. If an OWC box is available, it can be shipped separately, additional shipping fees apply.
    • EXTREME WEATHER TEMPERATURES: In the event of very high (Summer) or very low (Winter) temperatures, DVNO Wine may contact you regarding holding your shipments until temperature ranges are safer for shipping without risking the integrity of the wines. You may also request a hold for up to 120 days, free of charge, by checking the “Shipping Hold” box in your cart, by including a note in your order, or by emailing us at: info@dvnowine.com. Should you choose not to hold and ship during very high or very low temperatures, you agree to assume all responsibility for any possible damage to your wines, and DVNO Wine will not be liable.

Order Pick-Up

Orders will be processed within 48 hours. When your order is ready for pickup, we will send you an email. Orders will be held for 7 days after which they will be cancelled with a 20% restock fee. For Express Pick-up, please email us at info@dvnowine.com. Fees for express pick-up will apply.

Processing Time

Please note that while our typical processing time is up to 2 business days (48 hours), during the holiday season that can be extended to 2-5 business days due to increased order volume. If you are having a package sent via overnight, or have a tight deadline, please give us a call or send an email to ensure that we can work with your timeline.

Tariff Policy

All taxes, duties, and tariffs assessed at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the Buyer and must be paid in full prior to the release of any wines and/or spirits. The listed prices for wines do not include any current or future tariffs, all of which are the Buyer’s responsibility and must be remitted before delivery can occur. As of August 1, 2025, a 15% tariff applies to all wines imported into the United States from the European Union. Tariff rates for other countries vary and are subject to change. Upon request, DVNO Wine may hold products in bond for a minimum period of six (6) months. Tariffs are not assessed until the products are withdrawn from bond.
